Grüner Brauhaus in Fuerth

Today we had a Brauhaus Schnitzel with French fries and a Jägerschnitzel. Highly recommended, decent portions very tasty 😋 you can tell that the food is prepared with love. Price performance is right. It was definitely not the last time we got something here. A visit on site would of course be nicer.

Spontaneously walked in today after a walk and took a schnitzel with potato salad to go with me, didn't even have to wait 2 minutes, then I could take it with me without an order and also great in taste, really great!

Rustic, hearty inn in the heart of Fürth. All schnitzel in XXL format, "big hunger" and ideally beer thirst is a must here. Unfortunately, little emphasis is placed on beautiful presentation or exquisite dishes, but primarily on the portion size. Unfortunately, hardly any of us could cope with this. Specifically, it looked like this: I ordered Jägerschnitzel with French fries, a plate-sized oaned pork schnitzel came with some mushroom sauce on top. The french fries only gradually appeared under the schnitzel, but were then already soaked in liquid and limp. Ideally, this should have been served in a separate bowl. My résumé: Despite the beautiful ambience, culinary only mediocre. Needs improvement.

The green beer is really good and then there is the huge Schäufele on top that is also excellent in taste. And brisk, friendly service. And the expectations that one has of a brewery are even exceeded. A must visit in Fürth!

Delicious eaten. Only cattle too big snitzels, left 1/3. Gemus curry was tasty. Beer and wine good. Price there ok.

Price / performance good. Since I had never eaten there (tourist), I ordered a gypsy schnitzel and got one, in magnum format and it was also good. You should reserve in advance, because when we left the brewery, people were queuing to get our table. 😉

We wanted to go "to the green" again for a Brauhaus schnitzel. The online portal always suggested 9:00 p.m. instead of 8:30 p.m. Since the kitchen closes at this time on Saturdays, I wanted to reach someone by phone. Unfortunately in vain. My husband and I tried for 2 days and after more than 15 attempts, at different times, we got no one on the phone or an answering machine. Persistently, I went straight to the green on Saturday lunchtime to reserve a table. The colleague has apologized several times, but unfortunately we have to subtract one star for that. As usual, the food was delicious and came to the table quickly. The staff is on their toes and every wish is met quickly. The schnitzel are from the regional butcher, super tender, breaded perfectly with pretzel crumbs and they taste simply excellent. The potato salad is homemade and nice and light. The fries were perfect as always. The amount of the large brewery portion is exactly to our taste, but we never need foil anyway. "Normally hungry", have something of it the next day, or should fall back on the small portion :) The restaurant is very nicely designed, very clean and inviting. The corona hygiene regulations are observed. We'll try our luck again soon (by phone) and hope that the criticism will be taken to heart.

Best schnitzel in the area. Anyone in the mood for classic Franconian food will be happy here. Portions are very filling and the price won't make you cry afterwards. Personally, I think the ambience is right. Recommendable!

Edit: Went there in September 2020 again and the quality decreased.. the schnitzel was not even half as good as usual- just a normal unspecial schnitzel.. will go there again and see if it remains that way.. I hope the old quality will come back ———- Best Schnitzel I have ever eaten !!! The portions are big the prices are super fair - value for money ! I will definitely come back and eat here.. they also have their own beer and a great variety of other beers as well. You should also try the Schäufele Salat. I recommend you to reserve a table since they are quite famous and it can get full sometimes

Nice meal and bier

Nice ambience with good food. The Brauhaus Schnitzel with Jäger Sauce is definitely recommended. Schäufele is also convincing. However, there is a point deduction for the side dishes. The potato salad unfortunately tastes very industrial and not homemade. As a brewery, you could also think about fried potatoes as a side dish. Nevertheless, it is worth a visit if you are in Fürth.

Had dinner here yesterday. Top. I had ordered the Brauhaus Schnitzel XXL and failed miserably at it😁 Very nice restaurant and absolutely friendly and personable staff. We felt very comfortable and are sure that it was not our last visit👍😊

Delicious and generous schnitzel! Fair price

First of all, I would like to praise the very friendly and extremely courteous, unobtrusive service here. You immediately feel very comfortable. Next I would like to praise the current hygiene requirements. There are no “interpretations” or own “interpretations” here. Everything is implemented and observed in an exemplary manner. Great. Finally, of course, the food (I had the schnitzel) which was also very tasty. The lush side salad also has to be mentioned.

Got a piece of schnitzel almost the size of my face. Tasted great, and good beer too. Our server also helped me out with the cigarette machine since I don't have a German license.

Outrageously good value meals, great beers, and great atmosphere. The staff are also fantastic. I came here a lot when I had a broken ankle and couldn't cook and they were really kind to me.

Food is good, prices are fair and service mostly friendly and welcoming. It is in the same building as the 'Comödie Fürth', so better make a reservation.

A friend recommended the Grüner Brauhaus. So we're back. The rooms are very large and it is comfortably furnished. The service is on the ball. The food was really tasty. The Schnitzel is recommended. If you like Franconian cuisine, you should take a look here.

Good food, cool atmosphere, good beer. Can't ask for much more.
